Inputs — what gets entered, by whom, which fields

Outputs — screens, lists, documents, reports, notifications, and who receives them

Rules & calculations — statuses, approval thresholds, formulas. Be exact

Edge cases — what goes wrong today, exceptions, "it depends" cases(optional)

Data & connections

Where the data lives today, whether it needs importing, roughly how much
